The 5-week Field-Industry Work Segment (FIWS), which follows the first term, is designed to give students a hands-on experience of the grassroots realities in a range of sectors - tea, coffee, agribusiness, agri-input, spices, rubber, floriculture and biotechnology. During this segment the students are provided direct exposure to the grassroots realities of plantations, focusing on production related issues.
